Line work

For my site on Facebook called Artistic Kaleidoscope I created an image to use for the backdrop photo. I wanted to create something that had a lot of structure and design to it as well as being an image that had a simplicity to it. My final image has origami birds hanging from the branches which really completes the image. The picture shown here doesn't show that but is still a nice image.

As for this image I was doing a little sketching from a photo of a friends child. I loved how he was wearing a cowboy hat with a hoodie.

Watercolor pieces

Here are a few more pieces I've been working on where I used water color.  The first piece is a piece depicting one of my fondest childhood memories. We would play in cardboard boxes at my best friends house almost every weekend. I choose to paint the boxes and and us playing in them in the background and then depict close ups of us in bubbles in the foreground.

These two pieces are practice pieces. I was trying to see how the medium would work with various subject matter.
