Coloring Book- Personalized

My twin sister and I decide for a friend's son's Birthday we would make him a personalized coloring book that feature him in it.  He loves dinosaur so the book featured him with dinosaurs. Upon completing it we got a request to do another one. Above are images of the second one we did with a colored cover. This little girl loves princesses so we made her each of the princesses. They both were great fun to work on.

We are available to do more if anyone interested please leave a comment below. The dinosaur theme is all ready we just add the child. We are working on a  few other themes too. Price varies depending on how many pages.

Mixed mediums

I've been working with various mediums trying to find which one I really connect with. Below you will find some pieces I've been messing around with.

A box

Above is a piece I created where I was playing around with watercolor and colored pencil combined. Both mediums are ones I haven't messed with enough so I am happy with the results but I believe I'm going to try it again with watercolor only and see how that looks. I'll post the image when I get it completed.

Watercolor continued...

A couple weeks ago I posted a watercolor piece I did of my cousin. Through the process of working on that piece I discovered I truly enjoy using watercolor but I didn't like the paper I was using.  So I decided to do another piece but this time around I chose to use watercolor paper instead of mixed medium paper. I see a real difference and great improvement in the quality of my work on this kind of paper. I also changed my subject matter and decided to do a portrait of my Boston Terrier.

A splash of Watercolor with a little color pencil in the mix

Hello all,
On Facebook I have been seeing a lot of artist posting works for the 3 pieces for 5 days Challenge. This inspired me to do a piece. I jumped out of my comfort zone and did a watercolor piece. I haven't messed around with real watercolor since high school so I went to my local craft store and purchased a nice watercolor set along with liquid frisket to give them a go. I'm pretty happy with my results. Still need to play around but overall I really enjoyed using this medium.

The picture below is of my cousin on the beach in Florida.
